Mesa Union School District Board of Trustees is currently undertaking a study to consider a transition from “at-large” elections to “by-area” elections in order to come into full compliance with the California Voting Rights Act. Mesa Union has entered into a partnership with Cooperative Strategies, who will use 2020 Census data to inform potential trustee areas. Public hearings have been scheduled for the following dates:

- Public Hearing #3- Tuesday, February 15, 2022
- Public Hearing #4- Tuesday, March 15, 2022
